Missionary pilots support the spreading of the Gospel in areas of lacking infrastructure by air. They offer those that spread the Good News in word and deed, like missionaries, physicians, teachers, etc. air support to travel over long distances, impassable geographical barriers, dangerous districts etc., transport their supplies like medicine, relief supplies, provisions, bibles, teaching material... or people in medical emergencies to the "next" hospital far away.

They fly, where flying is not a matter of comfort, but the only alternative. Or where a few hours or even minutes of flight replace a journey of one or several days on flight level 0.

And God has called me to be one of them. But even more a pilot missionary. It is not about flying in the first place and not even about the humanitarian aid.
It's all about Gods Glory. And for His Glory and His Worship, His Love and Grace have to be made known.

And I have the privilege to work in this with Him and even with aviation for which God has given me an enthusiasm ever since childhood.

Missionspiloten unterstützen die Verbreitung des Evangeliums in Gegenden mit mangelnder Infrastruktur auf dem Luftweg. Sie bieten Menschen wie Missionaren, Ärzten, Lehrern, usw., die das Wort Gottes in Wort und Tat weitergeben die Luftunterstützung, um Wege über große Distanzen, unpassierbare geographische Hindernisse, unsichere Gegenden usw. zurücklegen zu können und versorgen sie mit Material wie Medikamente, Hilfsgüter, Lebensmittel, Bibeln, Unterrichtsmaterial,... oder transportieren Menschen in medizinischen Notfällen zum "nächsten" weit entfernt liegenden Krankenhaus.

Sie fliegen dort, wo Fliegen kein Komfort ist, sondern die einzige Alternative. Oder wo wenige Stunden oder gar Minuten Flug eine (Mehr-)Tagesreise auf Flugfläche 0 ersetzen.

Und Gott hat mich berufen, einer von ihnen zu werden. Aber mehr noch ein fliegender Missionar. Es geht in erster Linie nicht um das Fliegen, und auch nicht um die humanitäre Hilfe. Es geht in erster Linie um Gottes Ehre. Und für Seine Ehre, Seinen Lobpreis muss Seine Liebe und Gnade für uns bekanntgemacht werden.

Dabei darf ich mithelfen, und das auch noch mit der Fliegerei, für die mir der HERR schon von Kindesbeinen an eine Begeisterung geschenkt hat.
